I have windows vista and on my desktop for some reason there is a gray box on the right side of the screen. It goes from top to bottom and it's about 3.5 inches wide on my 23" monitor. It's always there, but of course you can't see it with black or other dark backgrounds. But if you use any other, lighter background the "box" is always there. I use windows sidebar, so I thought maybe that is the cause of it, but even when I turn off the sidebar the box is still there and anyway it's like double the width than the sidebar. And by the way, if I try to change the resolution of my screen, the gray box moved off the screen as the resolution size is smaller and all the objects get bigger, if that is of any help.
Does anyone know the cause of this? And how do I get rid of it??? Thanks a lot.
