Okay, so about a year and a half ago i got my new gateway computer. It came with windows media center pre-installed. It also came with the “upgradeweb” which said when windows vista was released i would recieve it in the mail. So I got it in the mail, and installed it. After that, whenever I go to click “Save as..” in any program the box that is supposed to popup to where I can name my file, and to choose where to save it does not come up. The program will either freeze or shut down. It does not matter if it is Firefox, Internet Explorer, ms paint, etc. The only program that will let me open the popup to save is Microsoft Word.
Please help me, it is getting old not being able to save anything, and it is starting to inerfere with my school work. Thank you for your help.
Yes I have and it still does it becuase it wants me to name the file.

Have you tried just clicking save?
