I have a laptop with vista, My dad put the parental control on, He forgot the password to his account thing so now he cant unblock anything, So now it blocks yahoo, hotmail, and myspace. What do I do, I would really like him to be able to unblock certain sites, Any help would be great.
problem, my dad is the administrator, he for got the password which you need to create any new accounts. Ive tried already.

start it up in ms dos and configurate the files manually (if your a genious) if not, like me, bring it to a store and they will need to reset the password for you but still be able to keep all saved data

simple actually.
create a new windows user account.
start > control panel > user account>
manage other accounts>create new user account>
type a name /choose as administrator
once done, either log off or restart and access the new user account
it should be fine.
next step would be migrating wateva u have on the previous user account to ur new windows user account.
if the steps above works let me know and i will guide u to migrate everything over to ur new windows user account.

:- you won’t lose any of your data by doing this
