been downloading freeware etc….using avg antivirus, by the way..anyway now when i turn on my hp pavillion and log on..i find that the windows vista theme i had prior is no longer active and my windows classic theme is now the theme. sure i can go into the theme manager and change it…but why is it doing it and how can i make it stop. my son said that i must have a program that changes the theme to a windows xp theme or something but the theme i get when i start up is ” windows classic”

this happend to me as well
I re-installed my OS and it worked fine
I think it may be a corrupt file in the system 32 folder
Dont think your a haxxor and poke around in it
BAD BAD BAD idea
system restore or re-instal OS is what i would do
