Windows xp stopping the network startup/ login screen?

September 24th, 2008 · 3 Comments

I just got a hold of a bunch of computer that was set up to boot up, then instead of the normal xp login screen it gives the option to CTRL ALT DEL then the options to type in a user name and password or to switch over to login to the network it used to be on. They were donations and I am trying to set them back to the normal login screen. PLEASE HELP. I have no restore disks. These are donations that will go out soon as i figure this out. Thanks

If you are able to log into Windows, you can go into the Control Panel under User Accounts and there should be a link for “change the way users log onto the computer”. It should have the option to turn on the Welcome Screen at log on.
      Hope this helps.

Okay, first off, go into the control panel and select classic view. From here select user accounts, then select Change the way users log on and off, then select use the welcome screen! Hopefully this helps! http://www.mymediatutorials.com/
