Windows XP Task Manager Issue?

I seem to have a problem with my XP Task Manager. When I hit control-alt-delete the window shown in the picture below appears. It seems to be missing the buttons and only shows the running applications…

      RIGHT CLICK ON THE TASK MANAGER FRAME.YOU SHOULD GET A MENU FOR THE DISPLAY PROPERTIES OF THE TASK MANAGER ITSELF.

      Hi!

      It has done this to save space on your screen. To get the menus back double click anywhere on the border of that window.

      Try changing your theme, as that does not appear to be the default windows theme

      download “Process Explorer”

      http://www.filehippo.com/download_process_explorer/

      go to options & set it to “Replace Task Manager”…

      It does a much better job than the windows task manager..
