I have a Dell Inprion laptop with Intel Wirless Card which functioned perfectly in XP and subsequently perfectly in Vista when installed into a dual boot scenario. Problem now is that when botting back to XP the wirless connection does not function properly (no Internet or LAN connection) UNLESS you first disable the card in SYSTEM reboot then enable the card again. Extremely frustrating. The reverse is situation does not occur (ie XP to Vista), the wireless connection works fine on Vista boot. This one has me stumped.
Any ideas anyone ?
Drivers that are in XP already work though. They just fail when booting backwards from Vista - a bit like Vista has taken command of the card in a different fashion to XP and doesn't release it to the new OS
