When I disable security options on my wireless network, I can connect to it and the internet works fine. However, when I try to add WEP encryption, I am still able to connect to my wireless network with full signal but for some reason the internet doesn't work; I am unable to navigate to any webpages or use any software that relies on the internet. Why would this be? It prompts me for the password when I connect to the network, accepts the password, and says I am in, but the internet just doesn't work.
I have it in WEP ascii mode so there is no passphrase and separate key. I think I am using the proper password.

You are not actually connected. It's a security issue… even though it SAYS it's connected, there is a problem with your WEP key.
On your computer did you enter the "pass phrase" OR did you enter the hex code shown on your router when you set the WEP key. (That would be the "0F:23:D4…." looking string below the passphrase. Try entering the HEX, instead of the "word(s)"
If your router supports it, switch to WPA instead of WEP. WEP can be cracked in minutes, WPA is much more secure.
