Witch one of these web browsers is better "Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari for windows ?

  internet explorer tends to be more compatible with plugins, which also makes it more compatible with more viruses, firefox tends to take less resources, and has a funny linux feel to it. safari is fast.

  i'd say firefox.

  IE is just.. ugh.
  safari is ok. but there's still some issues.

  Safari is written by apple, just about anything written by apple is NOT stable on windows… I wonder how they ever actually came up with the mac OS and made IT stable… That rules out safari.

  Ie is like a petri dish in a warm incubator when it comes to malware. There isn't a virus known to man that it can't catch and propagate.

  Firefox is a lot more secure, generally faster, and has a slew of useful plug-ins available for free for it, however you might run into the _very_ occasional site that it doesn't display like you expect. It is actually displaying it CORRECTLY, it's just the site was written very poorly, and probably with microsoft front-page, making it purposely not quite "right" with anything EXCEPT Internet Exploder.

  My bet would be to use Firefox for everything that it works on, but you'll HAVE to use IE for windows updates etc.

  The best use for everything is….. FIREFOX.
  Internet explorer takes up too much memory space and downloads take forever. Firefox is way faster and so far i've seen it as the best browser there is.
  Safari isn't that bad but it's just not as great as Firefox

  firefox all the way there are thousands of plugins u can use and it is fast. firefox is the only web browser i use.

  IE is much the better all around browser. The others are knock offs that are trying to cut into Windows success and they do a pretty good job, but they are 'piggy back' browsers when it comes to Windows.

  You should download and use them to see for yourself, but I'll be very glad when they're gone (a few years) because we have to code for them special which is a real pain.

  Many web masters have given up on them and are coding just for IE and let the others, which are few, go somewhere else.

  Firefox is the best from the three. It's not only compatible with multiple plug-ins, but it's the safest to use.
  Internet Explorer is the worst because it has some issues wityh security patches.
  Safari is good but not the best.

  Safari is real nice faster than either IE or Mozilla
  time will tell if has same vulnerabilities on a PC
  as the IE but it is clear to read and easy to use
  and pages load faster

  Firefox is probably the best because it has many plugins and takes the least resources
  You could also try Opera, which has a fun, futuristic feel to it
