Hey guys, I downloaded the installer, installed it, downloaded the patch, and when I went ot patch, it freezes at 25% with this error.
Blizzard Updater was unable to read the file “C:\Program Files\Wrath of the Lich King Beta\Data\common-2.MPQ”. This error may be caused by problems with the media or drive at C:\–for example, a scratched or dirty CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, hard drive corruption, or a networking problem while downloading the update. (The data being read was “world\maps\Kalimdor\Kalimdor_24_40.adt”, and the error code was 0.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (Converter::Load)

First, try running the repair.exe file within the main folder (after deleting common-2.mpq). It’ll take a while. if that doesn’t help, consider downloading the patch separately from the installer–it IS remotely possible that they’ve got a bad patch uploading to people. More likely, your common-2.mpq file was just installed incorrectly. Delete comon-2.mpq and run repair–it should be that simple
