xvidcore.dll error message for Vista?

I keep getting this little box that says, “xvidcore.dll cannot be found” and I can’t for the life of me figure out what that means or how to fix it. I’ve tried downloading a copy of that file and placing it in my system32 folder but that didn’t work. Anyone know how to solve this problem?
