xvidcore.dll help!?

ive just download the xvidcore.dll because my comp said it was missing im just wondering were do i place the file?

5 star to the person who answers :) ive put it in windows system 32 i hope ive done it right because the error hasnt shown up anymore…

      two options

      *place it in Windows32,

      OR

      *delete the file, and repair windows, (as if you was gonna reinstal or format) but instead, repair
      that would place all the missing files

      I presume you are using Windows XP. Just place the file in the Windows\system folder. Or alternately you can just download the Essentials codec pack and install it again, which is the method I prefer. Hope this helps you out.
