Yahoo Toolbar Issue ?

I downloaded the Yahoo Toolbar on my laptop (I am using Vista), and with the buttons that you can add on the toolbar….they are not visable. I can read the text, but I do not see the little icon next to the text. I did try unistalling the toolbar, and reinstalling it…but no luck. The oddest thing is that I do have an Answers button, and the little green box with the white star is visable; but the Pop-Up Blocker button, Mail button, and Sport button for example are not showing the icon. Any ideas why this is happening, and what I can do? You can message me if its easier to explain.
