I updated Firefox this morning to 3.0.1. After the update, my Yahoo Toolbar refuses to show personalizations.
I’ve refreshed, opened & closed the browser, and uninstalled/reinstalled. My personal buttons are still there if I go into ‘Edit toolbar’, they just don’t show up on the toolbar itself. The toolbar still works in IE.
Anyone have any suggestions???

I'll give you info that will work. Make sure your Y! toolbar under Firefox is at level 1.6.1.20080801 (click Tools, Add-ons, Extensions). If not, then uninstall and download from toolbar.yahoo.com. Next click Tools, Options, Privacy (tab at top). Make sure that both cookie boxes are checked (the 3rd party cookies is necessary to make the Y! Bookmark button work properly). Make sure "keep until they expire" is checked. The Yahoo! cookie maintains your Y! id and password. If you delete the Y! cookie, then you will have to sign on to Y! to get your Y! toolbar personalized settings (it helps to check the box to stay signed on for 2 weeks). If after signing on to Y!, you do not see the proper Y! toolbar personalized buttons, then click the Y! toolbar pencil icon and click Refresh Toolbar (in the drop down list). If you still have problems (which you shouldn't), then "add details" to your original question. Please be prompt. Good luck.

I understand the question and I am having the same issue. The personalized “my buttons” are not showing up. I have quite a few on Explorer that are still working but not through Firefox. Having the quick option of clicking on frequented sites was great. This issue alone may keep me with IE unless anyone knows how to fix it.
