I installed the Sims 3, and it didn't work.. SO I wanted to uninstall and reinstall it. So I went through the uninstallation process and the game files aren't anywhere to be found (I believe I was stupid and deleted them), but on the "uninstall a program" list The Sims 3 is still listed and will continue to uninstall if I click it, also when I try to load the game to install it again the Sims installshield wizard comes up but then asks *again* "Do you want to completely remove the selected application and all of it's features?" *clicks yes* "Do you want to remove your saved games and custom content?" *clicks yes* It then says "The Installsheid Wizard is removing The Sims 3" and then "Uninstall Complete The Installshield Wizard has finished uninstalling The Sims 3 " You would think that would work…. but no.. I can go through the entire process again a billion more times if I want.. but I don't,so pleeeaaase help me, how do I get rid of it!?

It supposed to work that way, it's your computer having issues.

Try redownloading/installing it. In the install wizard, there will be an option to repair. Choose that, then uninstall, THEN you can delete the program files to completely remove it. I hope this helps.

Did this work? It did not for me and I still have the same issue and their support did not help with the issue. The problem with the repair, is as soon as the install window opens, the game goes right into the uninstall process. I can also not remove it from the programs and applications window.
I deleted all the reg keys and files and the game only wants to uninstall.
